| Ola Skinnarmo reached the North Pole from Severnaya Semja as the first Swede ever. His fellow explorer Göran Kropp had to abandon the expedition and was picked up by a rescue team. Ola Skinnarmo is the first and only Swede to reach both the South and North Pole. 1st of March to April 2000 (estimated 55 days). Approximately 1000km. Start weight of sledges 120 kg each. |
